I was shopping for Christmas gifts online at Amazon.com when I came across this amazing little lunchbox, called Zojirushi Mr. Bento Stainless-Steel lined Lunch Jar. It is a thermos that holds 4 stackable containers of different sizes. One container is for soup, another for rice, and the other two are for side dishes. It is absolutely the best buy I made because pre-Mr. Bento, all of my food was mushed together in a glass tupperware container. The rice would soak up all the sauces from my vegetables and meat. By lunchtime, I would have soggy rice. Not yummy! Now I can separate each food item so that they stay fresher, longer.

Mr. Bento is designed so that you can microwave all of your food in the morning, then keep it hot in the housing container. By lunchtime, your food will still be hot. There would be no need to refridgerate or microwave your food at work. But I like to bring the small containers in the drawstring bag that is included, instead of the housing thermos container, because it is too heavy!

Hungry yet? I am! This is my lunch for tomorrow. Clockwise from left:

1. Carrots, Taro, and Rice
2. Chinese Turnip Soup with Dried Tofu Sheets
3. Chinese Turnip with Dried Shrimp
4. Roasted Duck
